Kallymenia reniformis
Description:
Thin, flattened, purplish red fronds, with small discoid holdfast and short
stipe, to 350 mm high, 0.5-1.5 times as broad as long. Blade obovate, entire
or cleft into obovate or wedge-shaped segments.
Habitat: On rock in shady pools, low intertidal and subtidal to nn m,
south and west coasts, occasional.
Similar species: Meredithis microphylla.
