European Seafood Exhibition 2006
In the scope of CEPROPESCA Project, the Department of Oceanography and Fisheries and the Regional Directorate of Fisheries will be present on the “European Seafood Exhibition” (ESE), in Brussels, between the 9th and 11th May.
ESE is the world greatest exhibition on the promotion of sea products, having participants from over 100 countries and attracting thousands of visitors during the three days.
CEPROPESCA, together with other Azorean entities of the fisheries sector, “Porto de Abrigo” Producers Association, Federation of the Fisheries from Azores, “Pão do Mar” – Azorean Fish Canneries Association and Lotaçor, will be promoting our fisheries and its products, emphasising the environmental certification and its artisanal and sustainable character, as well as the high quality of the fish caught in our seas. We hope to take our message to a great number of entities and companies, opening new opportunities to the commercialization of our products, in markets where the consumers are particularly alerted to the environmental questions.
