personal_Contacts Telmo Morato was enrolled in a PhD program between the Fisheries Centre of the University of British Columbia, Canada and the Departamento de Oceanografia e Pescas da Universidade dos Açores. His current main interest is modeling seamounts ecosystems and their fisheries. With his work, he aims to provide an integrated analysis of the impacts of fisheries on seamounts ecosystems, and to devise policies that can mitigate sustainability whilst ensuring the social and economic benefits of sustainable fisheries.
